Tiger at the Byron Nelson Classic (1997)

Tiger's return to the PGA Tour after his win at the Masters was triumphant. He won the Byron Nelson Classic (Irving, TX) with a 64-64-67-68 (17-under 263). Lee Rinker finished second (15-under 265) and Tom Watson and Dan Forsman finished tied for third (13-under 267).

Tiger netted $324,000.

This was also the site of his infamous "C" game statement. In an interview, he claimed that he won without his "A" game (which he most decidedly had at Augusta). This rankled a few other players and he has since refrained from "grading" his games.
